¡Caracoles!

Un caracol en mi Junceda (ganamos el Premio Junceda por Duelo de Caracoles, ¡yujuuu!).
La bella y la bestia.

Buscando documentación para un proyecto, me he reencontrado con los trabajos de los ilustradores Alice y Martin Provensen (tenemos un par de libros suyos encontrados en tiendas de segunda mano) y he descubierto a Art Seiden. Y ésto. Maravillas.

A snail in my "Junceda" (Junceda Prize won by Duelo de Caracoles, yuhuuu!). 

Beauty and the Beast. 

Looking for documentation for a project I have rediscovered the works of the illustrators Alice and Martin Provensen (at home we have a couple of their books found in thrift stores) and I have discovered Art Seiden. And this. Wonderful.

... ¡ Inauguración ! (a partir de las 20h)

Una parte de la exposición "Separar por Colores" que se pudo ver en Sevilla hace un par de años se expondrá en el Espacio Infame de Barcelona. Con motivo de aquella muestra, la Diputación de Sevilla y la editorial Sins Entido publicaron el catálogo "Sonia Pulido. Separar por colores".

En esta exposición podréis ver una selección de ilustraciones de los últimos años. Se muestran únicamente originales, sin ninguna intervención digital. Es decir, se enseña sólo una parte del proceso, la más íntima y directa.

Y este fin de semana es la última oportunidad para ver la expo "Amores difíciles" de Blanca Hernández y Pep Brocal, en la galería Miscelanea.

Y hasta el 30 de octubre, en la Sala Mutt, se puede ver "Muertos de amor" de Agente Morillas.

From september 30th to october 20th 2011.

A selection of the "Separar por Colores" exhibition which could be seen in Sevilla a couple of years ago will now be exposed in Barcelona. Based on this exposition, the Diputación de Sevilla and the publisher Sins Entido produced the catalogue "Sonia Pulido. Separar por colores".

In this exhibition one can see a selection of illustrations of the last years. There will be shown only original drawings, without any digital intervention.  I.e. one will see just a fraction of the process, the most intimate and direct one.

And this weekend you have the last chance to see the exhibition  "Trouble loves" of Blanca Hernández y Pep Brocal, in the gallery Miscelanea.

And until october 30th, in the gallery Mutt, you can see "Dead for love" of Agente Morillas. 

Vuelta al cole

La vuelta al cole ya llegó. Ilustraciones para el artículo "Vuelta a una rutina ordenada" de Cristóbal Ramírez publicado en EPS. Hábitos saludables y consejos para que estén sanos todo el año.
La camisa del niño y de los calcetines de la niña están inspirados en los estampados de rayas de Paul Smith. Me gustan tanto, tanto ;-)
Es algo que tengo pendiente, diseñar estampados. Algún día.

Back to school. Illustrations for the article "Back to a routine ordained" of Cristóbal Ramírez published in EPS. Healthy habits and tips for children to be healthy all year.  

The shirt of the boy and the socks of the little girl are inspired by the stripes of Paul Smith . I like so much ;-)

It's something that I have pending, design patterns. Someday.

Un descanso en el trabajo.
Esta planta comenzó a crecer por su cuenta en una maceta y ahora ha florecido. Dos preciosas flores rojas, a la espera de que abran sus compañeras.
Y el superguardián de las plantas.

Me gustan mucho los diseños textiles de Maija Louekari.
Y los diseños de Madame Grès. Casi esculturas.

A break at work. 

This plant began to grow on their own in a pot and now has blossomed. Two beautiful red flowers, waiting that their companions will open. 

And the super-guardian of the plants. 

I really like the textile designs of Maija Louekari. 

And the designs of Madame Grès. Almost sculptures.

Corazón

Ilustraciones para el artículo de psicología "¿Razones o Corazones?" de Xavier Guix publicado en EPS.
"EL coraje supone un acto de amor hacia uno mismo y hacia la vida. Porque amamos somos bravos y no a la inversa". Para no olvidarlo.

Ésta sería una buena banda sonora para escuchar de fondo.

"Courage is an act of self-love and to life. Because we love we are brave and not the reverse". Not to forget.

This would be a nice soundtrack to listen in the background.
